month long training for the track
athletes.”
Commenting further, the LTFF boss said
the Federation is yet to receive annual
grant from the international body, the IAAF,
and as such they were finding it difficult
to carry on the smooth operation of the
federation.
He also told journalists that US-based
track athlete, Christopher J. Sayeh has been
appointed as the new Liaison to coordinate
the activities of athletes aboard.
In a related development, the President

for Nairobi, Kenya.
He is to attend the Administrative
Seminar of the International Association of

The move by the LTFF boss has been
welcomed by many Liberians who described it
as “great and encouraging” for the
development of athletics in the country.

selected athletes have already begun
preparations at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports
Complex in Paynersville in City. |
