Assets Declaration Verification Commences

The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) will February 20, 2013, embarks upon a random verification exercise of assets declared by public officials. The exercise is aimed at ascertaining the veracity of the declared assets of these public officials.

The LACC is therefore urging all public officials concerned to cooperate with the Commission in the verification exercise in the interest of transparency and accountability.

Meanwhile, the attention of the LACC has been drawn to allegation of corruption at the Liberia Airport Authority (LAA). The Commission wishes to assure the public that it has commenced deliberations in the matter with the view of citing those involved for investigation.

My lovely country is covered with corrupt leaders. [BLOCKED]'re force to bribes for everything even trying to open a business. All minsters, managers, should be allow a maximum of two term in office. The longer they stay in office, the more the will oppress our people. To overcome corruption, teaching our [BLOCKED]r ones at an early age.
